"If you follow the instructions and try to shred credit cards or a CD don't buy this machine! A CD will destroy it."

Cons: shreds are *not* unreadable
"Box says "unreadable", but the inch-long strips are definitely readable since they cut right along horizontal lines. I found account numbers, eMail addresses, phone numbers, & so on, very readable. Unfortunately, I'd produced two big bags of shreds before I discovered this, so I cannot re-shred these pages. Till then, I was quite pleased with speed, but now, back to the store it goes!"

"I put up with a cheap shredder that only took 5 sheets at a time for 4 years and finally broke down and shelled out some $'s for this "quality" shredder. What a piece of junk! I ran 1 piece of paper through it just fine but that was it - jammed on the 2nd sheet. Nice lady in Customer Service is sending me a replacement out but what a pain. Very safe because it doesn't work. I AM SICK OF POOR QUALITY PRODUCTS!"

"It's not jamproof and it broke. We couldn't unjam the paper. Had to throw it away. Now I have to buy another."
