"Just bought a DM12CT shredder. I am pleased with its performance. It is similar to an office model used in the military. Definately one of my best buys to date."
"The removable wastebasket had a 1/8" gap on the front-panel bottom. Other shredders of the same model on display at other stores had no such gaps, or smaller gaps. Fellowes did promptly send a replacement basket. Perhaps a re-design of the wastebasket panel is warranted. Otherwise, the unit performs well."

"I've used Fellowes since they came out. I shredded 33 bags of paper after my mother died. The first one burnt out, but the replacement is still working (12 years ago). It does its job well."
"I've had this for almost a month. works great. haven't used the cd shredder part yet. I just wish it was constantly on, so i didn't have to turn it on each time. it is sort of quiet, but not completely quiet. better than my last one though. doubt any shredder could be completely quiet."
