"We purchased this shredder to replace a similar model that we had used until it gave out. In shopping for this shredder, I found that most quality (8 page capacity or higher) shredders were quite costly. This one had both a good value and high quality and I am very pleased with my purchase. I am listing the safety features as a con but only because the protective slot over the shredder entrance is a bit annoying and I wish it weren't there (it slows me down). That being said, if I had children I'm sure I would feel otherwise."
"This shredded is being used only for houshold shredding. We have purchased two other shredders made also by Fellows and they didn't last as long as they should. Internal parts broke. The machines were never abused (only senior citizens use) and this particular shredded has been working better then the others. I'll know for sure after using for a longer period of time. As you know time will tell. Mrs 2busy"

"Have only had for a couple of weeks and it has performed better than I expected. I only gave it a 4 star overall because I have not had it long enough to know how it is going to perform months from now. Did a good job on CD's and credit cards."
