"I purchased this shredder to replace a Fellowes shredder I had for over 6 years. My old shredder still worked even though a plastic piece broke from the paper slider. I also used Fellowes oil to maintain the cutters as recommended by Fellowes. Because my old shredder lasted as long as it did, this made my decision to buy another Fellowes shredder easier. I really like this new shredder."

"I'm absolutely THRILLED with the purchase of my new shredder. It's amazing how much better the DM12 Cross-Cut model is compared to my previous shredder (not a Fellowes). After shredding, the materials look like tiny slips of paper instead of long straight strips of paper. Also, I watched the unit "eat" a couple of old credit cards in a matter of seconds. It would have taken me 20-30 minutes per card to get them into such tiny pieces. This is a terrific product and I highly recommend it to others!"
