"At a time of disappointing financial markets, faulty products, flawed politicians and politics the DM12Ct Cross-Cut Shredder not only does all that its manufacturer claims that is is able to do but does it extremely well. Its specifications are just about the best within its price range and in the three months I have used it the DM12Ct Cross-Cut Shredder has met and surpassed all."
"Its not everyday you use the shredder, but I love how it turns on very quickly and shreds amazingly fast.
I personally use it every few weeks. I use a trash can specifically for shredding and every few weeks or when the can gets near full, I'll turn on the shredder and send everything through really quickly.
The shredder adds a sense of elegance and professionalism in an office. I would say just as necessary as a scanner. Some people may argue a scanner is not often used enough to warrant purchasing one, but I disagree. Having a paper shredder is just as important, not frequently used, but ever so important.
Although my model is rather big, I prefer having a large waste bin underneath it so it does not fill as quickly. I only need to empty the bin out every 6 months or so.
And for the extra paranoid individuals, this shredder pretty much turns paper work into pulp, its impossible to piece together the bits of paper to read anything.
The shredder states 12 sheets of paper, but I've put 20 sheets in at once without a problem, I would NOT recommend this though, you want to preserve the life of your shredder as long as possible. Do not stress it out :) If you do manage to jam it with 30 sheets of paper, there is a reverse function which works perfectly to reverse and unjam the shredder.
And a tip, you can actually place a thin trash bag in the shredder and it bin closes and operates perfectly. This makes for taking out the shredded trash a breeze.
I truly believe Fellowes is a reliable brand and I can see myself continuing to use this same shredder for at least another 10 years.
Its not quiet, but its a shredder, just like tearing paper, it can only get so quiet. By no means is it unbearably loud, but it is definitely creates an acceptable level of volume."
"Although this shredder is a bit large, it shreds efficiently and is very easy to empty. It says it can handle 12 sheets at a time, but I would recommend no more than 6 or 7 to avoid jamming.
Staples are no problem."

"I have owned several shredders, this one I like the best because the basket that holds the shredded paper can be removed from the front not like the other shredders where you have to lift off the top and most of the time having to deal with shredded paper all over the floor."
