Cons: bigger basket, none
"Have used several other brands and one Fellowes. Prior unit finally "had problems" (I never lubed it). This unit does everything I could ask of a shredder. I have been using it extensively (at home) and it has yet to jam. Would have preferred a bigger basket, but over-all I would rate it the best shredder I have have- especially for the price (and I did an extensive price/shredding comparison prior to purchase. Great product"

"this replaces a ten year old Fellowes shredder that finally died. The new shredder runs faster and quieter but cost less than the old shredder. It also shreds more pages at a time and has yet to jam."

"I like everything about this shredder. It is very powerful, quiet-running, and has never jammed. The shredder accepts paper, CDs, DVDs, and staples without missing a beat, crosscutting everything quickly and confidently. The collection bin is big enough to handle a lot of shredding before I need to empty it, and even that task is simple and fast. Lastly, the machine simply looks handsome amidst my home office furniture and equipment. It sits discreetly to the side and is there when I need it. No worries whatsoever! I'd give this machine an A+."

"This is our first shredder. We did our research and found that the cross-cut and 10-12 sheet capacity was what we needed. We found the DM12Ct to fit the bill very well. The 5-year warranty and US company put this machine at the top. We like how smooth and quiet the machine is when it is in use. The paper with staples goes right through as does credit cards. The power shred feature deals very well with difficult paper. Just as advertised."

"I received my new shredder as a gift from my contractor. My older shredder was tempermental, so having the new Fellowes DM12Ct is a joy. I give it high marks for its operations. The pull-out bin is especially convenient."
