"I bought the P-57Cs end 2008 for home use and took out an extended 3 year warranty from the reseller. Just as well. To tell the truth I was not impressed with it from the start as it simply would not handle more than 2-3 sheets, would then 'protest'. I have had to unjam it many times after feeding in a couple of sheets at a time. All this despite Fellowes' specs that it can handle up to 8 sheets. I know I was wrong to put up with this mediocre performance. The other day, I was shredding a three page document and it seized up again. Completely. After emptying the bin, unjamming the shredder simply refused to shred. I am taking it back to the reseller tomorrow under the extended warranty. If I did not have this, the shredder would have been for the tip. I have used Fellowes products for over 20 years and I am very disappointed with the quality/performance of this equipment. Did they test the stated shredding capacity?"

"After using a P-57s shredder The Plastic case is broken between the grinder gears causing the shredded paper to build up and the shredder motor to over load This unit is poorly constructed"
