" I purchased this from the outlet store back in 2015, I have been running this bad boy ragged!!! I have just purged 20+ years of old paperwork, and I must say.....WOW... it is still going strong!!! I am noticing it does start to experience some slowing under extreme usage, but give it time to rest as instructed it keeps going like it was brand new!

" I have looked for shredders for about 3 months before making the purchase of the fellowes. I asked friends, did reviews, and compared many different shredders. I received this one and am I glad I did. It's pretty quiet but the shred is smooth and it shreds in tiny pieces which gives me the comfort of knowing my information can't or won't be pieced back together. It's bigger than I expect but I actually love the look it fits very snug in a corner and has a window to allow me to see when it need emptying. I would definitely buy another one when or if needed, and I would recommend it to my friends and anyone that ask. I love my new shredder!! Thanks Fellowes

" I have just taken this shredder out of the box it was shipped to us in. It was purchased on line from a vendor in Kansas. It arrived via FedX in perfect condition. Incidentally, this is a cross cut shredder. I had been "saving" papers to shred and upon plugging the shredder into the electrical outlet began shredding activities. I also processed the destruction of some credit cards. The product performed perfectly. The true test for this product will be several months from now to find out if it continues to work properly.

" Bin door not close into lock position. Fixed by pulling the 2 plastic receptors together slightly by using a plastic tie wrap.

" The safeSense Technology does not work, might be just as well, I am sure that having the machine stop every time you touch it would be a pain. Don't know however because it does not work. Do not like the flashing light that indicates the safesense does not work so you have to turn the machine on and off every single time you use it.
Oh, tried to register the unit and that does not work either, figures.
