" This is my 3rd Fellowes across the years. The previous one was a 95Ci. I needed another and got the 125Ci - a bit bigger. These are AMAZING devices. They just work, no matter what. You don't "coddle" it. 20 sheets. Cannot jam. Just oil it periodically. Love it. Customer for life!

Perfect for Medium Office Shredding

We recently bought the Fellowes 125Ci Shredder from Shredder Direct for our Recruiting Agency. We got an excellent price, fast delivery and it was easy to set up and use. Its got a continuous motor which we finding hard to find on a decent shredder, The Fellowes 125Ci shredder is being used by around 7 people in our office and has become an essential tool to protect our candidates data as we can now shred their CVs when we no longer require printed copies. I urge all businesses to protect their customer data as I've seen other agencies simply bin CVs afterwards which isn't fair to the people who trust them with their important data,

" We had always had the low end of shredders in the past. I was always getting it jammed. I don't have the time to watch or pay employees to feed the shredder. I ran the shredder for more than 2 hours shredding our back up, from our cheap shredder that gave out last week. I know once again, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!!! This shredder is so quiet compared to the others we had owned. I can talk on the phone and shred while talking. Never could I hear over the other shredders.

" My Fellowes 125Ci shredder is a replacement for a C120C. The old one has been in steady heavy use for 9 years! (Only one trip to the repair shop in all that time.) We had gone through several other brands and none had lasted much longer than a year. We are a county government office and we need a reliable secure shredder. Another office sometimes brought some of their documents for us to shred. I told them that I was ordering a replacement finally, and they ordered one too! You have delivered a budget friendly workhorse.

" Unlike the previous shredders this office has purchased, this one performs as described and expected. It handles up to 18 pages easily and quickly. No problem with jams. I also appreciate the bottle of oil that was included with instructions on when and WHY to use it. It is easily applied. Thanks for making a sleek looking space saving shredder that works!

" If you are looking for a shredder that can handle the job without breaking the bank, look no further. This unit can handle the largest of jobs and has a great capacity bin. It is not a unit to stick under a desk as it is quite large however nothing this powerful comes in a small package. It will not jam and makes sure you can't jam it. It is a quality product that I would definitely buy again.

" Heavy mechanics should be made in separate piece and boxed separately or inside refuse container. I ordered three of these and each came in damaged. Box is large and bulky. Packing is part of engineering the product. Needs to be resolved.

" Just received and set up. Unit is heavy and sturdy. Ran two folders of papers through, this shredder worked very well without any problems. Eats 10 pages easily, Over loaded once and it tried to unjam itself. Did well but had to manually turn and off twice to clear the jam. It is relatively quiet when shredding and no noise when idle. Smell of unit smells like a Harbor Freight store(natural rubber smell) which I think is great but may be objectionable to some office workers in a small space. Easy to empty and manage shredded paper. Shreds in small strips which settles nicely in large container.

" I've had no problems with this shredder in the two months it has been in operation in my home business. I like the desktop height, which means no bending over as with smaller units. It's more expensive that the wastebasket-sized units, but having owned 3 shredders before this one, I recommend the old advice: buy your second (or third) shredder first.

" Observations after ownership of lest than a week. All the functions and safety items worked as advertised. It was selected and purchased to complete one major shredding task each year, and basic office light duty shredding on a daily basis. In the last week it has succesfully completed the 'major' task for 2012. A stiffer, more solid container box, with a method of securing the plastic container bags, would I feel be a great improvement.
