" With the passing of our parents we are faced with the Herculean task of shredding boxes full of sensitive papers. Our little old shredders couldn't even begin to meet the task. In fact, one of our little shredders fried and died trying. Now we are plowing through the mountains of papers. The only thing slowing us down is emptying the bin every 10 minutes. Love it!

" We've always had some type of small shredder and now have progressed to the stage of needing a heavy duty type that would take care of the majority of paper mess that has accumulated around the house. This Powershred 99 Ci seems to have it all. Thickness of paper that would slow down or stop most other shredders, doesn't seem to be a problem for the 99Ci. Long story short, we're very happy that we purchased this one for the long haul. Anything less just wouldn't cut it. The opinion of others we talked to also said that they felt Fellowes was one of the best names in the market.

" Purchased this Shredder based off reading many reviews. This is a replacement shredder, previous was an Ativa cx12w that served me well but finally gave out. If I had to make a comparison between the two, it would be David & Goliath. When they say size matters, it does when it comes to shredders. There is no comparison, this Jaws of a machine shreds like it says, is quiet, and has a huge holding container for the shredded paper. Only use this for home personal use but could easily be placed in an office environment. I take the shredded paper and then turn it into a renewable source, paper logs which we use in our fire pit during the winter months. Have never had to gather or purchase firewood. Great shredder that can handle big shredding, you won't be disappointed. Shane

" The Fellowes 99Ci arrived 3 days after I ordered it through Amazon. It had great reviews, but it was a little over my budget. Because I have owned at least 4 shredders in the past, which never lasted more than a year, it was time to bite the bullet and find a good one. I am not disappointed! This shredder surpasses all my expectations and was well worth the money. It was a little taller than I expected but it fits perfectly next to my desk. It is super quiet, the design is one you want to show off and the bells and whistles are outstanding. I know if I'm putting in too many pages by the indicator light and it shows when the basket is getting full. It will even shred small paper clips and staples! I just love this shredder and would recommend it to anyone.

" This used for my home use. I am so glad I took the leap to the higher end model. I got tired of the constant jamming of my previous model, yes it lasted a long time but this will outlive me. I appreciate the safety features of this model as well. Give this model a second look and if you do your homework as far as price you will be able to be the winner at a great price for a quality product. The shreds are larger than I thought they would be but provide needed security. Never have to open the junk mail anymore it eats it up in one swoop.
