" I had had it with the rooty-poot shredders. When I decided to open my business that must honor HIPPA guidelines, I knew I had no time to mess with paper jams or only shredding 3-5 pages at one time. Enter SB-99Ci. I chose it because it claimed to be 100% Jam-proof...it was not just a claim...it is fact! It really does shred 17 pages. I have no problems with the shredder-it shreds flawlessly. I even find myself looking for things to shred...the thicker the pile the better! And it is so quiet! It is amazing! I can't comment on the warranty because I have no need for it, but it does come with some type of warranty. I also love that it is compact, has a side pocket to store paper "to be shred" and it really does shred credit cards, too. Love it, love it, love it!!!

" If you are looking for a quiet shredder, this is the one for you. I hate shredders that sound like you are standing on a runway listening to airplanes take off! We have had the 99Ci for a month and have had no problems with it. It is in a recreation center and is used a lot. Very durable and dependable! I like the size of the container. We don't have to empty it as often!

" With 30 years of papers to delete including old tax forms, checks, etc as we move, I needed something that would handle the load. The SB-99Ci did everything I could ask of it. Even if I pushed and overloaded it a little, it hesitated, backed up a little and then powered through. In two days I had 12 large trash bags of shredded paper out at the curb for recycling. This is one impressive unit and still going strong.

" From the moment I opened the box, I was impressed. The overall look of the the shredder is sleek and modern, while also looking like it is built tough. After the easy setup, I ended up burning through a decent stack of papers in no time. Even the person in customer service who usually does the shredding was impressed. It is extremely quiet. So quiet in fact that anyone can use it while other people are on the phone. So for a small office consisting of 6 people, it's a perfect fit.
I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a durable, good looking, quiet, and inexpensive shredder.

" I purchased this for home use to get rid of many records that contained sensitive information -- years of finances. Other shredder said 7 pages, but labored on over 3 pages. I was very surprised by the quietness and the number of copies this unit would shred. I haven't counted, but guess I am feeding 10 or so. Of course this is the first shredder I have purchased that cost more than $150 other than a $900 one that was used in a commercial office. It has jammed occasionally, but a short reverse and re-feed is all it takes, i.e. It shuts down before it seriously jams. Seems well built.

" Shredder was received on time and put into use. We are a small office but do a great deal of confidental work. The shredder is very quiet and has performed beyond expectations. We have adopted a policy of not putting more than 5 pages at a time. It is very fast under these circumstances and is not overloaded.

" I have owned two shredders and by far this is the best yet. It is quiet, fast, and I've only had two jams so far and that was because I fed it too much at a time. The shredder was easy to clear. The big draw back so far is that it fills up so fast because I use it all the time.
